The job-related German course is carried out exclusively as face-to-face teaching in the training rooms of the educational institution.
The measure is aimed at participants who would like to complete the basic nursing course with care assistance, but do not yet have sufficient knowledge of German to be able to follow the lessons safely and to be able to successfully pass the internal exams.
In order to ensure successful participation in the subsequent nursing course, the participants receive professional language support with a scope of 300 teaching units (UE) in advance. In this context, care-specific technical terms, typical job communication situations and practice-relevant content are conveyed in particular.
The focus is on the acquisition of job-related language-communicative skills that are necessary for the work in the nursing and support area. The participants are specifically prepared for typical situations in everyday care, such as B. communication with those in need of care, relatives and specialist staff, documentation, teamwork and the understanding of legal and organizational framework conditions.
In addition, social-pedagogical support offers as well as career-oriented and advisory elements are integrated into the measure. These serve to stabilize the learning process, to promote professional skills and to strengthen personal initiative and employability.
After successfully completing the 300 UE job-related language support, the participants start the nursing basic course with support assistance and have the necessary language requirements for successful participation.
